Many economists have developed the theory on the basis of it. However, paterns they developed involve some misunderstandings. To pick up typical ones, we can do following issues. First, the distinction between modern sector and traditional one is vague, for Lewis used terms of capitalist sector and subsistence one. Especially the latter is importan in the sense of that it does mean noncapitalist. We recognize it as community in which total output is distributed equally, I.e., members receive average product, not marginal product. Secondly, we think terms of trade from the point of view Lewis had presented. He distinguished primary commodities in the following types. One is the commodities that are produced in the temperate regions, other is ones that are produced in the tropical regions. Less developed countries which produce primary commodities are located in the latter. The proposition that terms of trade of primary commodities vs. manufactured products deteriorated permanently is supported in the latter sense, if we introduce factoral terms of trade after Lewis, who appealed different immigrants in the two regions.}, pages = {23--40}, title = {ルイス問題再考}, volume = {39}, year = {2000}, yomi = {ミヤガワ, ノリユキ} }
