 note = {A-Yin's original "Wanquing-Xiaoshuoshi" was published by in May, 1937. In August, 1955 after the establishument of The People's Republic of China, the revised edition was issued with modifications and supplements along the lines of the new governmental policy. However, A-Yin still seems to have been dissatisfied with the contents. He began further revisions but unfortunately passed away leaving the third edition unfinished. In this study, the author investigates how A-Yin intended to modify the second edition by examining his posthumous works. Received Oce. 22,1990},
