On this theory of Performative Utterances suggested by Austin, Dr. Aoki declares that ritualistic saying is a representative of the Performative Utterances. That is, by saying something in ritual, we do something, especially something which can be called perlocutionary acts. Then, what did some of the texts, which were uttered in former days in Kagura ritual in Kita-shitara district, do as Performative sentences?
