Because of his occupation, and also because of his native cast of mind, he did not present his political thought in an organized way. But Burke was a prominent political thinker who saturated politics with thought and provided the model for applying first principles to practical affairs. As his political thought contains moral and political wisdom, we can learn great lessons from it.
