It was found in the previous research that the intake of energy, Ca and Fe were insufficient and, as subsidiary food, Western-style dishes were mostly preferred by the students. Continuing the research, further pursuit was made on the state of food intake and preferences of the students, and the results were as follows : (1) Regarding nutritional intakes, those of energy, Ca, Fe, Vitamin A, and Vitamin B_2 Were insufficient, while the intake of fat was in excess. (2) 20 to 21 kinds of foods were taken per day on an average. (3) kinds of foods that were particularly favored by the students were spaghetti, canned oiled-tuna, eggs, beef, and roast pork. The students showed little liking for the foods which were considered to be traditionally Japanese, such as eel, yellowtails, kamaboko (steamed fish paste), ayu, sardines, and chiken liver. Not many students drink tea (green tea) after each meal ; only the following percentages of students were found to drink tea after each meal : 6% after breakfast, 18%, after lunch, and 42% after dinner. Taken together with the fact that fewer students eat miso-soup nowadays, it is clear that traditional eating habits of Japan are being lost among the students.As for vegetables, tomatoes and lettuce were preferred rather than burdocks, spring onions, green peppers, green asparagus, carrots, celery and so on. Fruits were highly preferred and, as for sweets, Westernstyle cookies and cakes were preferred while Japanese ones were not.}, pages = {67--82}, title = {女子大生の食生活について : 本学における実態調査第2報}, volume = {10}, year = {1983}, yomi = {ヤマグチ, ヒロコ} }
